My sister is due in January she would absolutely love this. She’s very green, and her baby will be too, she makes her own baby food (from organic fruits and veggies).

Hello, There are several ways; like breastfeeding,
using BPA free items, 100% organic diapers and clothing. Please enter me in your adorable onesie drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

We got all organic linens for the baby, switched over to Charlie’s biodegradable detergent, organic clothing, organic food for the family, cloth diapers (love bum genius!), breast feeding (no bottles), line dry…just taking it back to the “old school” :) I’d love to win!

Aww, this is so cute! The easiest ways to green your baby are to breastfeed instead of using formula and bottles and to use cloth diapers. Other ways are to buy used baby clothes, cribs, changing tables, etc. from a consignment shop instead of constantly consuming new products.

beyond breastfeeding, the biggest thing we’ve done is simply try not to bring tons of new ’stuff’ into being. we tried to find as many used items as possible, locally through craigslist, etc.

We’ve been doing several things… breastfeeding, cloth diapering, gently-used baby gear, toys made with natural materials, organic clothing, and organic bedding. Biggest purchase was our all-natural crib mattress! Coming soon… making our own organic baby food and, of course, teaching our child to live responsibly.

My daughter is due any minute, with my first grandchild. She has gotten 99% of her baby items thru hand me downs from friends, craigslist, or freecycle. This onesie is adorable and fits in with her way of thinking, she would love it!

So many ways to be green with a baby…breastfeeding, going with hand-me-downs instead of new, and just not buying all of that extra baby stuff that you really don’t need.

Besides breastfeeding, we eat only organic whole foods, clean with only vinegar/baking soda, compost, freecycle and sleep on organic mattresses and sheets. I would LOVE this onesie!

I’m planning on using gdiapers for starters. I’ve managed to get most of the baby gear either through friends or freecycle and have purchased loads of excellent quality gently used clothing items off of ebay. This onesie would fit in wonderfully with what I’ve got!

Organic food for the family. Walking to the grocery with cloth bags. Hand me downs as much as possible for the baby. And “green” cleaning products for the house and for the baby’s needs!

My sister is having a baby right now! She would love this. She is breastfeeding until the baby is one year old and she is using hand-me-downs for the baby’s clothes.

Washing clothes/blankets in bio-kleen (biodegradable), sanitizing with vinegar & borax, and making homemade baby food!
Thanks for this great contest!

I would love this for my son! We are cloth diapering and love it! Since turning to cloth we have slowly started to fully convert our house to a green household!

I’m going to breastfeed, reuse the diaper bag(s) from the previous kids, reuse my sons’ old babywear, thriftstore purchase everything I do not have now from the last 3.
Sometimes being low income can help you be green, too :-)
Enter me, please!

Would love to win this! I am working on becoming greener: making baby food, using chlorine free wipes, using CA Baby shampoo, buying used clothing, giving clothes away, etc…Thanks!

I am due in January & I’m looking for all the green baby advice that i can get! Thanks!
My hubby & I plan to run our little one around in our garrage sale jogging stroller; take him for walks in our hand-me-down stroller; hike him around in our garrage sale sling; and drive him around in our hybrid car.
My mama is also trying to green our baby shower by giving away homemade peach jam, made with local peaches; flower seed packets made with seeds from our yards; and encouraging friends and family to give homemade or hand-me-down presents and as much baby advice as i can handle!

Making my own baby food and using cloth diapers are two ways I go green with baby!
