I found a designer I liked and the looked for them on Ebay. I made sure to try similiar gowns on at the store to ensure that the fit was flattering on me. Once I purchased it I took it to a seamstress who do all the alterations. After I wear I plan on putting back on Ebay. I love the dress but I think it would be better to give it to someone else rather then have it collect dust in a closet. I got my dress on Ebay and love it. I made over an old prom dress of Erin's and added a train and hot glued silk roses all over it.. Another less expensive eco friendly way to get a gown is to buy a used one, or buy a dress and make it over. :) very cool.
