Tree Hugging Ideas You May Have Missed
Just to be sure that you’re keeping up I thought we’d go over our small steps. I know that some readers have taken small steps to heart like tree hugging friend Peggy. Other people have created their own small steps which is equally fabulous.
Here are some of the small green steps you can try with your family this year:

We also do a fair amount of tree hugging around here. So far, we’ve hugged many different trees:
- Cedar
- Heirloom Peach Tree
- Almond
- Autumn Trees
- Lemon
- The Pumpkin Tree
- Binary Tree
- The Chocolate Tree
- Sugar Maple
- Edible Tree
- Douglas Fir
- Red Flowering Dogwood
Wow. That’s a lot of tree love. Anyone else notice how many food-minded trees I hug? I must like snacks.

Good summary.
I’m actually planning on writing about my switch to cloth napkins soon. Mine aren’t really as pretty as the ones in your post, but I was thinking plainer would be better for me since I’m messy. : )

I have two red maples from the Arboy Day Foundation I’m going to be hugging as soon as they can go in the ground. :-)
And who wouldn’t hug a tasty snack tree?

Peggy, you’ve done so many green things lately. I can’t keep up. Your on some sort of green roll. I finally have time to blog surf, so I’ll be stopping by your blog shortly. :)
Gift of Green ~ Thanks! That’s so nice, I think everyone should hug some trees. The more the merrier.
Julie ~ Ha snack tree (maybe we should start a new business, granola trees!) We could call them, um, “Hug This Crunchy” I owe you like 4,567,857 blog visits. I am a bad slacker, but will be by soon.
Kate ~ we spoke :) Anyone else who might be wondering, I’ll be back asap. As in tonight or tomorrow. My big project is over so I’m coming back to the real world (Thank Goodness).
