Tree Hugging Families Love Fishing!

by Jennifer on September 30th, 2007

Well, that’s not exactly true — but some tree hugging families do. Like fellow blogger Mysti’s family. These adorable photos are of Mysti’s little boy Jaden hanging out and fishing.

He looks a tad concerned in this one — maybe camera shy?

And now he’s got his fishing game on…

Here he really looks happy to be in the great outdoors. He probably gets it from his mama who says, “At 8 months pregnant, I still hiked up to the waterfalls in the mountains in Central WY. Talk about an adventure!!!” Now that is true tree hugging style.

I love this last one.

A big old thanks to Mysti and all the other families who have sent their tree hugging family photos in. It’s great to see so many happy healthy kids enjoying the great outdoors.

If you want to see your family here at Tree Hugging Family send your photos in; you can snag my email by clicking on the “contact me” link to the side. We’d all love to see your family in nature.

Thanks, Jennifer! Jaden is my little ham and I sure do enjoy the fact that he loves the outdoors as much, if not more, than I! At three-years-old, he has had some great adventures outdoors, including watching calves being born and getting to snuggle up with a rescue calf.

My only wish for my son is that he is able to enjoy the world well into adult-hood and share those great adventures with a family of his own. It’s up to me (and everyone else) to ensure the world is safe now and in the future.

Hey Mysti; I’ve been moving or would have responded sooner. I love that your boy is getting to enjoy the world around him. That’s the only way to improve things is to get the younger generation to fall hopelessly in love with the great outdoors.

I totally agree!!! We do all that we can to help with the outdoors and preserve what we have. I’m hoping this spring to take him out to plant new trees!! :) That will be a fun experience!
