Coffee Plant: Grow Some Beans
February 7, 2008 by Peggy
It’s no secret that houseplants help clean the air indoors, but did you know that you can grow coffee beans too?
According to Gurney’s, a coffee plant will produce beans in three to four years. So, to those who wait . . . homegrown coffee beans!
And I’m sure if you’re patient enough to grow your own coffee beans, you can roast them in the oven as well.
This awesome little plant (that actually turns into a larger 3-4 foot plant) can be mailed in the spring or fall.
I’m thinking about getting one, but I’m not sure. Do cats eat coffee plants?
