Why throw out something that can save someone else money?
Not everyone who shops at the farmer’s market takes their own bags. That means most farmers have to purchase them.
Try helping out your favorite farmer’s market vendor by taking your clean, untorn plastic or paper bags to them. Of course, if your ground chuck package leaked, they don’t need that one. Eek. But most of your bags will be reusable.
If you don’t live near a farmer’s market, ask if vendors at your fave flea market might want your bags. Or you could save them for your garage sale this summer!
