How You Save Water

What measures do you take to conserve water?

• Most popular answer (aside from “At least 5 of the above”) was turn off water while washing dishes and brushing teeth with 15% of the vote.
• Eating little or no meat claimed 7% of the vote. It takes a lot of water to get a package of beef to the store. . .

Your Biggest Green Sin: Take the New Poll

Do you recycle? Have you bought things just because you love to shop?
This month’s enticing poll is called “What’s your biggest green sin?” You may find the poll hiding out in the sidebar.
And you don’t have to pick one of our answers. My, there must be millions of green sins. Feel free to add an answer.
You’ll notice that Jennifer and I will be blogging on the poll choices this month. Maybe that will help you decide!
Either way, please vote by the end of May. And be honest. We don’t know who says what.

Hey tree hugging families… Peggy and I have a new poll up. We’re going to be leaving this poll up for an entire month so that we can really allow people time to think about the question.
The question is: What green topics would you like to learn more about?

Meatless Meals Poll Results: How many meatless meals each week?

It seems we have more than a couple vegetarian readers at Tree Hugging Family. “I don’t eat meat” was the most popular choice, followed by “I eat 3 or more meatless meals each week.”
Actually, the votes went from top to bottom with “None” at the end being the least popular choice. I don’t know who you are in the poll, so don’t be afraid to tell the truth! ;  )
Here are the Meatless Meals posts in the Eco Cooking category in case you missed them.
Thanks everyone. Please look for a new poll in the next few days.
