Tree Hugging Family – Week in Review

In case you missed it, we had some green posts up surrounding eco-friendly topics. Kidding! Of course you knew that, just seeing if you’re paying attention.

Here’s what we had going on this week:
CONTESTS! Lots o’ contests – in fact a dozen – like a nice box of donuts.

A smashingly great Earth Day project for kids
PVC-free Shower Curtain Liner
How to reduce your carbon footprint – bunny style
A story about my insane child – Sometimes Recycling is an Emergency!

Two product reviews – which reminds me I have another to do…

Plant That Paper!

Plant That Paper!

I love, love, love, this paper.
Plantable Seeded Wrapping Paper from Bloom is too cool. Their paper products are beautiful and embedded with wildflower seeds, so you can use it and then plant it. What I really want to do is figure out how to make this myself; I can’t see how they do it without the seeds sprouting though.
You can use this paper for so many things:

Wedding invites
Baby shower cards
Wrapping gifts
Bookmarks
Paper Christmas tree decorations
Basic letter writing
and more

I like the blue and green colored paper; but they have many colors, even black:

Such a nice idea. Visit Bloom.
