Lately there’s been some controversy in the news about organics and also some lively debates in the blogosphere about whether or not eco-products are worth the cost. GreenLivingBuilding.com has an interesting post up – What You Eat (or don’t eat) Helps The Environment Most. We’ve discussed this issue here before, but this post is a good read. It’s got some stats neatly laid out which are trying to prove to you that

Weekly Green Audit: School Grounds
Continuing on with our green school audit this week, we’re going to take a look at the school grounds. We actually just completed our green audit of home yards – so, you can shift much of that audit into a school grounds audit, only on a larger scale.
School grounds are really important, and a tough green issue. Many schools have a large amount of ground space and want it to look good. However, this doesn’t mean your school needs to use harmful chemicals and pesticides. A big yard can be just as pretty when treated organically.

Best Foods to Buy Organic

Sorry to be MIA for a bit folks — I had a weird autumn illness this weekend. Now I’m feeling somewhat better and should be back to normal posting. Also, I had some great nature family photos sent to me by Kate over at Babylune so watch for those soon.
