Most of our readers note that they recycle, so the Recycle shirt is perfect. I was hoping to find a “no paper towel” shirt for everyone doing Peggy’s Paper Towel Challenge, but no.

Peggy told us about an awesome eco book and her hyper cool Mork & Mindy belt.

This Saturday I looked at trees! We had a tree quiz (can you get the answers right?), tiny tree branches you can munch on, and great places to see trees.

With Easter hopping up (ha), it was sort of a low-key week around here, but still nice. We look forward to having you here this upcoming week. Also, in April we’ll be running a 20 day count-down to Earth Day – starting April 1st and many other cool bloggers from b5media will participating – you won’t want to miss it.

Ok, so in reality Kelly is a nice, non-scary sort of Tree Hugging Lunatic, a person who designs cool stuff like shirts, reusable bags, and mugs, but it just sounds so cool to say lunatic (how often do you get to use this fun word).

Check out this awesome shirt from Tree Hugging Lunatic… (I picked the one I would get – I like tanks, but they also have tees, sweats, and much more).

Check out the quote on the shirt, “We are here on Earth to do good to others. What the others are here for, I don’t know.” Too funny, and often, to be frank, how I feel on a bad day.

I also maybe need a ringer like this. My last cool ringer tee was some crazy thrift store find that said SPEEDO. I loved it but worse, all my friends loved it. Everyone loved it so much that people would steal it and borrow it (guys and gals). Long story short, my poor cool fave ringer died long before it’s time. This one would do because I love ringers and I love trees. Plus I look nice in yellow

Now, here’s what I suggest to Tree Hugging Lunatic. Get some sustainable fabrics going on! Maybe some earth friendly dyes. ASAP. They have some organic choices, but none that I liked as much as the ones above. It would be cool to have an all organic company going on here. However, sometimes words are good. And don’t forget small steps are so much better than none at all. Plus, it’s fun to see someone having so much fun with eco topics.
