Hug This Tree: Edible Tree

I figured that with Thanksgiving yesterday food is on the minds of some of us. And if not this tree featured by Food Frenzy is still way fun.
This 12-foot tall chocolate tree, complete with more than 300 marzipan oranges and 10,000 chocolate leaves was created by Art Institute Chef Instructor Rick Royal and a team of 60 students and alumni for the 2007 Celebrity Food Show in Anaheim.
The tree was created to honor the 150th anniversary of Anaheim’s existence.

The Sugar Maple is the official state tree of Vermont and is lovely. Tall, winding, and spread out for shade with beautiful leaves.

Hug This Tree: Lemon

I don’t know if anything looks nicer than a bright and shiny lemon tree. They have pretty leaves, flowers, and fruit. Lemon trees are thus triple threat hug worthy. Not to mention all the great dishes lemons can be used in.
The best part is that any tree hugging family can grow their own organic lemon tree!
