Choose an organic cake flavor – personally, I think lavender or raspberry make nice baby shower cupcake flavors, but you can pick any old flavor.
Use sustainable baking methods – i.e organic ingredients, reusable cupcake cups or pretty cake molds and so on.

My favorite green baby link of the week is Earth Mama: Have a “Green” Baby Shower. Check it out to see plenty of earth-friendly baby shower ideas. There are plans for recycled drink containers, recycled wrap, eco baby gifts, and more. When it comes to your baby’s nursery, there’s plenty you can do to make it green, starting with the walls. These days there’s no need for your baby’s walls to be covered with toxic paints or wallpaper, because there are plenty of earth-friendly options available.
When it comes to paint, you’ll want to look for low-VOC paint.
