The faster you drive the more fuel you burn. As soon as you get above 60 mph your mileage starts to decrease pretty darn quickly. CNN notes that, “Every 10 miles per hour you drive over 60 is like the price of gasoline going up about 54 cents a gallon.” So besides saving non-renewable resources you can also save some cash. Size doesn’t matter either, by slowing down, you save on resources and money no matter if you car is tiny or large.
