It’s time for a CHANGE. Today marks the changing of seasons to summer, and we’re celebrating with a surprise contest. The winner didn’t even know she entered.
Surprise Liz!
You won CHANGE: a starter kit. We’ll talk more about what’s in it coming up soon, but why a surprise contest?
Jennifer and I wanted to surprise one of the participants in this month’s Reusable Bag Challenge with a special gift. We’d also like to thank rocklovepeace for sponsoring this surprise contest.
Here are Liz’s recent comments:

Surprise Liz!

Jennifer and I wanted to surprise one of the participants in this month’s Reusable Bag Challenge with a special gift. We’d also like to thank rocklovepeace for sponsoring this surprise contest.

Here are Liz’s recent comments:

On BYOB Challenge Update

Ugh! Not so great! I’m at 8 bags. I can’t believe how bad I’ve been about it. Part of my problem is that I often don’t carry a purse, and I’m a carless wonder, which means there’s nowhere to stash that bag. I really have to commit to carrying a purse or bag with me, so that I can keep a couple of Chico bags stashed in there.

and on Have You Tried a ChicoBag?

I have four Chico Bags … My only complaint is that for the farmer’s market I’d really like something I can wear over my arm, like a purse. I’ll probably pick up some of those ubiquitous string bags for the farmer’s market, but for the grocery store and other shopping, the chico bag is perfect.

So, Liz, we’re hoping that maybe the unique, recycled tote bag in CHANGE: a starter kit will be helpful to you as a place to stash your other bags and for the farmer’s market. Since each bag is unique, your bag will be another surprise. We’ll contact you by e-mail to get the surprise gift to you.

Up next, learn what’s inside the recycled tote that comes with CHANGE: a starter kit. It makes a perfect gift.
All green newbies have one outstanding trait in common — they recently made a decision that their actions do matter to the planet and to the well-being of other humans.

It’s not bad to be a newbie when it comes to green. All green newbies have one outstanding trait in common — they recently made a decision that their actions do matter to the planet and to the well-being of other humans. It’s a good thing to be new at this. There’s lots of fun surrounding this learning curve.

If you know someone who want to incorporate more green and doesn’t know where to start or if you just want to spread the word to family and friends who haven’t ever given green a thought than Greensender boxes can help.

This is by no means an all inclusive green gift; in that there’s so much more to going green than what comes in a Greensender box. However, if you’d like someone to start using actions to promote green this is a gift that steps in the right direction.

The Greensender Box is a box you can send to anyone that includes:

An eco-friendly aluminum SIGG water bottle.

A reusable grocery bag.

An energy-efficient cfl light bulb.

An organic cotton t-shirt.

It puts green into context more so than just talking about it. When someone gets this box they realize that these are some tools that can get them on a greener path. Visit Greensender to learn more.
