Eating Tiny Sticks Is Fun!

So, I know I said we were talking about trees all day, but this is sort of along those lines. In high school I used to skip, I mean wait until after school, and go to the co-op. I know, you’d think I’d sneak somewhere else. Anyhow, I used to get three items. Dried pineapple, honey sticks, and licorice root sticks.
I quit getting honey sticks a long time ago, because of the plastic issue (I do miss them), but I still get licorice root. Recently my son said, “Those look like little tree branches!.. And you can eat them!” He …read more
