Soy Crayon Rocks

Check out these cool Soy Crayon Rocks:

I love them. I bet your kids will love them too. Benefits o’ plenty:
- These crayon rocks are made with renewable soybeans and tinted with natural mineral powder.
- Because they’re soy, they’re smooth and distribute color evenly; more like pastels than wax crayons.
- Designed to strengthen a child’s tripod grip muscles – helps with writing skills.
- Perfect for smaller hands and easy to grip.
- Many “occupational therapists and teachers of children with special needs” are using these crayons in order to help children develop their fine motor skills.
Plus, they’re so fun. Little rocks that you can color with! What could be neater? They come in many sets including the cute Sampler Treasure Bag set, boxes, and just plain crayons.

Visit the Crayon Rocks website to see a children’s picture gallery, pros, and to purchase.

Jellybeans. My kids would eat them.
I’m going to check these out. My kids already eat any crayons. You mentioned special needs, so this might be a good thing for my special needs daughter to help her grasp crayons better.
Marye, too funny, I was thinking candy rocks too – luckily Cedar really isn’t a candy fan, so he wouldn’t touch them.
Julie, when I worked in social work with special needs individuals, I ran an art clinic for a bit, and we used round crayons, not these, but like them, I don’t think they were soy – but the young adults seemed to like them.
These are awesome!
