I forgot to mention:
* We get money back for bringing our own bags to the grocery store.

A few ways we save money and even make money by going green:
* We bought our cloth napkins at yard sales and the Salvation Army. No more buying paper napkins.
* We use microfiber clothes and rags instead of paper towels.
* We save energy by turning off lights and unplugging occasional-use appliances (even the microwave). We use cold water to do most laundry.
* We use eco-friendly concentrated cleaners or water with vinegar/ baking soda/ or borax.
* We actually make a little money by reselling magazines, books, movies, and albums.
* We use less gas.
* Instead of throwing stuff away, we get a tax-break for donating stuff to Salvation Army and Construction Junction.
