Send Organic Flowers This Autumn

by Jennifer on October 20th, 2007

Any season is a great time to send organic flowers — but if you haven’t before now is a great time to start. There are so many beautiful autumn organic flower gifts to send friends and family.

Organic Bouquet is a good place to start. Their flowers are USDA certified Organic and their company goals include protecting both the environment and farm workers’ health by selling flowers free from harmful pesticides. They also offer specific bouquets that give some proceeds from the sale to support non-profit organizations dedicated to social justice, wildlife conservation, animal rights, and environmental protection.

Organic Bouquet uses various sustainable and safer methods within their company such as…

Take a look at some of the beautiful items you could be sending this fall (or if you’re lucky — receiving.)

I’m with you on the Sunset Roses, but the Calla Lillies are beautiful, too. Anything in these autumn hues would be fantastic to have!

The lilies are beautiful. I used to work at a wholesale flower shop and each week we’d send ‘bad’ flowers back for recycling. But ‘bad’ in the flower world is just a week old so each week I’d get to take home as much as I could carry. It was like a dream come true. I’d have four dozen roses, gerbers, and lilies at my house all the time. I have got to get another job like that! I miss all the flowers :(
