Seasons Natural Toys

If you’re looking for healthy non-toxic and utterly charming toys for your little one than you can’t do much better than Seasons Natural Toys. I love them because not only do they make toys with non-toxic finishes but these toys are unique and heavily tree inspired and also promote creative and imaginative play.
Also, these items are so much more beautiful than the typical rampant plastic toys we see everywhere. Just look…

This award winning treehouse has a look out tower, swings, rope ladders, transport pulley system, loft, opening and closing shades, knot ropes, clothesline, even a tire swing! It also comes with an official deed and a free tree seedling. I adore the roof.
You can get accessories as well for your child’s new tiny home (click on a picture to learn more:
They also sell an adorable Wee Acorn House

Seasons Natural Toys also has everything else you could ever want for a tiny perfect wooden world. Farm items, travels by car, horse, and boat, fairy tale creatures, and lots more. Of course they also have dolls in many styles to live in this tiny world.

These items are non-toxic and much healthier than plastic toys but they are made of wood so they may at first glance seem less sustainable. However, when going green you also need to consider the long-term benefits of items. Yes these are wood and I don’t even think recycled wood but this is a toy that will last forever and become a treasured item to pass on for generations. You can’t say the same for most plastic toys. Most plastic toys won’t even be recycled but simply thrown in the trash.
Also consider what goes into making an item. You have to consider the energy costs vs. long-term effects before making smart decisions about where your money goes. If things were completely equal, say the treehomes were made in a factory that outputs the exact same toxins and energy expansions as a factory that makes a plastic castle. Which is a better environmental deal the toy that will last forever or the toy that won’t? Additionally these toys bring an honor of nature into your child’s world both by their design and scope.
I guess my end point would be that sometimes it can be hard to know which item is better for the earth if you have so many choices; but if you weigh everything the choices can become clearer. Was that too much info for a relaxing Sunday? Hopefully not.

Thank you for sharing! Their products are just beautiful. I’m thinking of including some of their “made in the USA” products on my website, http://www.toysmadeinamerica.com. I’ve been googling and collecting links for products for kids made here in America, and some of their products are just adorable! Thanks for the post. Teresa
These are nice. I never had wooden toys like this as a child. I think my nephews would like them.
