		<description>DramaMama, #7 is a composite of different plastics. That&#039;s why it can&#039;t be recycled. What came in it? I don&#039;t see this one used for food much. 

From what I understand, the worst one for leaching is #3 -- PVC. But for a human water container, I have switched to SIGG, avoiding all plastics.</description>

		<description>This is more of a reusing question...I have a huge jug w/a nice handle that can&#039;t be recycled b/c it&#039;s #7.  I was thinking of using it for dry storage but a friend said that # is the worst for leaching.  So I just throw it out...?  I guess it would make a good watering jug but I was wondering what you thought about the leaching of #s other than 1 and 2.</description>
