I’m with you. I’ve been going scent-free on every product possible.

It’s funny that I was just being all anti-scent in my 7th Gen dishwasher detergent review that’s coming up soon. I love their free and clear version.

I actually love scented stuff. But I try not to buy synthetics smells. I do use natural incense, herbs, oils, fruit essence, etc. I like smells. I even like the fake smells some, but they’re so icky for you. In NM you can get killer natural cedar incense. I bought many boxes before we left.

It’s the fake smells that bother me. Most products have the synthetic fragrance.

Natural stuff is great, except flowers. My cat will eat them.

I love the smell of something wonderful cooking. So, yeah herbs and that kind of thing don’t bother me. I guess I should be more clear : )

Interesting! I get headaches, sneezing, my throat gets irritated whenever I’m around a strong synthetic fragrance like perfume, or air fresheners for too long. I have no problem with most natural fragrances. I buy everything unscented, unless it’s scented with the real thing (mint, vanilla).

I’ve had to leave buildings that have air fresheners before because I just can’t tolerate it. Maybe that’s why I like plants, and the outdoors so much:)

I have an aunt who is like you. She used to not be able to be around anything, not candles, not me and my oils, not any smell. At all. Now she realized that she can be around some (at age 60+) like mint, tea tree, etc. I think that many people are scent sensitive. I burn a lot of incense and my sis hates it because of her allergies.
