Presidents’ Day: Take a Look at Where Candidates Stand

February 18, 2008 by Peggy

abelincoln.jpegIf you live in the United States and you can vote, you’re facing an important decision in November.

Be green today by taking 10 minutes to explore where the Presidential candidates stand on environmental issues.

This Grist.org article/chart spells it all out for you — whether you’re looking at Democrats or Republicans.

The photo you see was taken outside of Abe Lincoln’s home in Springfield, Illnois. If you haven’t visited his home, think about doing so if you’re in the area. The free Ranger-led tour is wonderful, and it makes you think about things like, “Wow, Abe didn’t have a bathroom in his house.”
