We used a few sheets for warming up tortillas and hot dogs. My hubby reminded me to use a plate for the hot dogs and I seem to remember my grandma doing it in a cup of agua. Anyway - we could have done the tortillas in the skillet or oven I guess, but they stick to a plate in the microwave. We did save the paper towels for something else, but I can't remember what. But I know most were used as hand towels by my daughter. She does reuse these either a 2nd time, of for a napkin later. But we're still trying to break her of her paper towel hand drying habit. I think I will get her some nice organic towels just for her to use. We did use a lot for napkins. I am going to look around the hosue this week for a basket or conatiner to keep my cloth napkins in. Then I am going to place these on the counter right under the paper towels. And of course, we used way too many for "plates".
