Organic Cotton Socks and Hankies from Kasper Organics
August 13, 2008 by Peggy

Kasper Organics carries a large selection of affordable organic clothing from sleepwear and tights to bras!

The sock selection includes everything from crews, argyles, dress socks, sport socks and even tie-dyes. Kasper Organics also offers a very nice selection of organic hankies, which are nearly impossible to find in stores.

Do you have problems finding organic socks, hankies and underwear in stores?

I can’t find decent hankies at all, organic or otherwise, but I never looked online because I am afraid to buy anything I haven’t felt. In my thrift store roaming, I haven’t yet found a flannel sheet to turn into hankies (an idea I got from Tree Hugging Family a few months ago). However, we did manage to convert to all hankies in June! When my husband went to Mozambique in May, I asked him to look for hankies because the one we all fight over (my husband, me, and the boys) was one he got when we lived there eight years ago. He picked up a handful at a street market, and they’re okay but just not the same. Who has so much to say about hankies????? I must be a nutcase.
Those tie-dyed socks are gorgeous! I used to tie-dye and dye a lot of stuff when I was a teenager– socks, underwear, skirts that needed the ugly print disguised, cloth lunch sacks. I can hardly believe I haven’t tie-dyed anything since our honeymoon. Now I have a hankering to tie-dye something, and my sons would love it.
We typically avoid Walmart, but I recall that a couple years ago they briefly promoted a line of organic clothing– just pajamas, I think. Does anyone know what came of that?
Oooo, I just glanced at Kasper’s website and saw that they have napkins, too. I think I know what to ask for for my birthday. . . hankies and napkins. What’s wrong with me??? Who asks for hankies and napkins for her birthday????
Katherine, I remember the hankie conversation. Some of the hankies at Kasper Organics are made of flannel if that’s a material you’re looking for.
You’re not weird. I’ve asked for napkins for Christmas!
Hi everyone, I am the owner of Kasper Organics. I want to thank Katherine for her kind reviews of my products. Since they were posted we have switched to a new web host that uses wind power. http://www.canvasdreams.com. And our new web address is http://www.kasperorganics.com. It used to be .net as in the other links shown in the reviews, but now it is .com, and the forwarding has expired.
Have a wonderful green life!
