Disneynature’s Earth is a brand new Disney flick premiering on Earth Day, April 22, 2009. Narrated by James Earl Jones Earth the movie follows three families of animals through their daily lives – whales, polar bears, and elephants. This movie looks perfect for families and would be a great way to celebrate Earth Day this year.
This first movie is just the beginning too – according to Robert A. Iger, president and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, “Disneynature is a concept we look forward to building across the company and across the globe for years to come. And, we hope these films will contribute to a greater understanding and appreciation of the beauty and fragility of our natural world.”
Other Disneynature’s Earth films in production include…
- T H E C R I M S O N W I N G: Mystery of the Flamingos, taking viewers to the isolated shores of Lake Natron in northern Tanzania for a birds-eye view of the mysterious lives of flamingos.
- O C E A N S: Mysteries and dangers of the oceans.

wow! when i watch this trail of the movie is so amazing because it show every kinds of animal and this is the planet we live in together. My opinion is this movie will show us how important the world look like. These life will include human too. it will help us save polar bears and other animals in the planet. it show us the beautiful of planet earth look like,if we help it stay beautiful.
Was the polar bear left to die, or did they save it? Did they turn around the little elephant stranded by its mother? I am hoping that these lives were saved, and not just filmed.
