Most people want to have their homes painted after buying a house. I sure did, especially after tearing down the horrible elephant-print wallpaper.
I keep seeing ads for Mythic paint in art magazines, which I’m prone to wander through. So, I decided to check it out some more. Plus, their marketing group was kind enough to give us some info on the paint as well.
Here’s what makes Mythic paint different. It’s . . .

I tried this paint Very Expensive! and it didn’t cover at all. I had to go and buy a gallon of Benjamin Moore Aura Paint and that worked fantastic and had no smell.
You must not have applied it correctly. Ive used this paint with many of my projects for work. Never had any problem. What Ben. Moore doesnt tell you is that their “Aura” line most likely has vocs in their colorant, once tinted.
Aura does have VOC’s in the pigment, it is not advertised as a non VOC Paint, however, the Tints are low VOC tints, they are special tints, made for Aura, acrylic based, not the standard glycol based universal tints (which are VERY high in VOCs). All in all, a gallon of Aura tinted very deep has a low VOC volume
