Is this a “gift”?

October 6, 2008 by Peggy

As we get closer to the holidays, you’re bound to notice a lot of “gifts.” Yip. Those things you’d never buy for yourself, but you may end up getting for someone else for the sake of marking that person off the list. Pretty rough stuff. Well, maybe that won’t happen to any of you this year!

So, do these Slipper Genies fall under the “gifts” (wasteful) category?

My first thought is YES. The idea is that you’d get your exercise and clean the house at the same time by simply walking around wearing these micro-fiber cleaning slippers.

What must these things feel like to walk in? I’ll never know, I hope.

Please keep reading this blog throughout the coming months for some green gift suggestions!

Peggy, you obviously do not have nearly 4300 sq ft of vintage hardwood flooring.

Jennifer, let’s just shop for each other on Buy Nothing Day! ; )

Marye, no but I wish I had hardwoods. I have 900 sq ft of apartment carpet. Yuck.
