Is Loofah Green?

Yes.

Luffa (or loofah) can be grown in your garden, and pests don’t usually want the stuff. So, it can easily grow up naturally.

And luffa is versatile. Use it not only for cleaning your skin, but also dishes. Maybe have separate sponges though!

What else? Use luffa for cleaning just about anything that needs a delicate touch (not steel wool). For instance, your car.

When all’s said and done, luffa can even be recycled into mats. That’s one cool plant.

Go to the USDA Plants Profile for plant images and info.
