Holiday Hallmark Card Studio Software Giveaway!
One way to save money and reuse materials during the holiday season is to make your own cards. Tree Hugging Family is going to help you do just that with this new, cool, giveaway…
What you can win: Two lucky Tree Hugging Family winners will win a copy of the #1 card making software, Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 2009.This software is super slick, full of features, and family friendly. (Watch for my upcoming review of this software’s full features).

Who can enter: Not me. If you happen to be a girl named Jennifer who blogs here at Tree Hugging Family; well, don’t enter. Are you someone else? You’re good to go.
Giveaway duration:
- Starting… now (go)!
- Ending December 7th, 2008 at midnight Pacific Coast time.
How to win this giveaway:
What I like best about this software is that it promotes family together time and allows you to make some great projects at home using recycled materials if you so choose (recycled paper, buttons, and more) plus your own creativity. In that spirit, if you’d like to win this software, head to the comment section of this post, and tell me one green activity your family will be doing together this holiday season.
Will you be having an organic cookie baking day or will you be taking a nature hike in the snow? Are you all making homemade eco-gifts?
Additional rules:
I’ll be randomly drawing and posting our winners by the afternoon of December 8th. If you win, I’ll be sending you an email that day. Please respond within 3 days, or I’ll draw another winner. I know that’s a short time frame for responding, but being that this is a holiday project gift, I’d like the winners to get this before mid-December (plenty of time to make cards).
Also, please note that sometimes b5media emails go to spam. If you’re listed as a winner on the 8th, and you don’t have an email from me by that evening, check your spam or toss me an email at jennifer.chait@b5media.com.
Good luck! Don’t forget to watch for a post that discusses this nifty software’s features.

We aren’t using our heater or watering our grass. We bought extra blankets to keep warm and we will let the rain keep our grass watered!

Hi there! What a great giveaway! This year, I am hand embroidering cotton tea towels and vintage napkins as gifts, in the hopes that my family and friends will give paper towels the boot.

We had our natural gas turned off, only heat the room we are in with heaters. If we have company we fire up the wood stove fueled with wood that came down in a bad icestorm. We also installed a 4 gal. point of use waterheater in the bath, you hav to turn the water off between soaping up and rinsing off or you finish with a cold rinse! It works for us, but then we don’t have teenagers.;)

Does putting up a really old fake Christmas tree count? Lights are burned out and it’s really gotten “wrinkly,” but I can’t see us buying a new one a month before moving and we haven’t bought a fresh tree in ages. I sure do miss the smell, though!

Green activity: I recycle wrapping paper and boxes but been doing this a long time. I save mailing envelopes also. I’m better at hiking than baking and have found a new love “geocaching,” hiking for treasures. I also knit and have started presents in July (sales for yarn and all) plus time involved. This is very well appreciated by receivers and love the finished products myself. I love to make my own cards so here is hoping :-)
Happy holidays to all and to all a healthy 2009.

I’m making a purse out of fabric the grocery store was going to throw out. It’ll carry my notebook, instead of a big bulky planner with lots of pages.

I am making almost all my christmas gifts for my family this year, rehabbing stuff I already have here at home. This is the first year that I am doing this, and I like this idea better that buying a whole bunch of stuff with money I do not have right now.

We replaced all our house decorating lights with LEDs this year to cut down on our electrical usage and we decided to plant a tree in honor of our new daughter (3 months now) to help cut down on the cooling costs to our home in the summer. I’m also using eco-friendly yarn in all my knit gifts this year.

I will be making a gift basket of organic products for someone in my family (don’t want to say who just in case they happen to read this). Thanks for the chance. This looks like wonderful software.

We are not using paper to wrap our presents. we sew, so we are using those fat quarters of quilting fabric from the craft store and some ribbon to make drawstring bags for our presents. Then the receiver can re-use the bag as well!
