Hairy the Lemur

October 10, 2008 by Peggy

Is this a face only a lemur lover would enjoy?

Perhaps. But lots of kids like lemurs. And so do I.

Hairy the Lemur by Xeko is available from Taraluna.

What makes him special?

Soysilk — an organic fiber made from waste produced during the creation of tofu!

Conservation — Hairy is based on a very real and endangered animal, the Hairy-eared Dwarf Lemur, which is the size of a walnut. He’s featured in Xeko games which help fund conservation efforts.

Kid-friendly — Not only is Hairy soft, organic and educational, but he’s the perfect size for littles: 5 inches long with an 8 inch tail.

Would your kid like this lemur?

If my daughter doesn’t want to keep it I do. That is cute and I bet he’s really soft.

He kind of reminds me of those little Trolls with the spiky hair, but he’s much cuter and looks more cuddly. Love his toes!

Kisha – glad you like him!

    Kristen – LOL. I guess he’s a little troll-like :)

I just received mine and was please to see a code for use on the xeko website. I’m not sure what it does yet but I thought that was a nice tie in to keep my daughter interested in an educational game for a change. Thanks for the heads up.
