If you somehow end up with some packing peanuts or bubble wrap, UPS stores will reuse/ recycle those.

Great article! We took our whole packing operations green.
We use USPS priority shipping boxes. No one knows this but turn one over and now they are "certified cradle to cradle" Meaning, 100% recyclable and can be make back into boxes over and over again.

In side the box is 100% recycled/recyclable Kraft crinkle cut (instead of using bubble wrap or crinkle cut) And it's a lot cheaper and nicer looking!

If something needs wrapped, we use 100% recycled/recyclable Kraft paper.

All these can be found on uline.com

For our labels and receipt, Business card and Thank you cards inside the box are printed with soy based in on 100% recycled card stock made with wind power (greenerprinter.com)

If anyone has more tips to make our packaging even better/greener, please let us know.

Thanks for the blog post!
