Well, I'm a bit ticked off. I noticed recently that they've changed their liners. I have the old one with the traces of BPA, and they're acting like it isn't a big deal. No offers of refund or replacements that I can see right now. Here's the link to the letter from the CEO:

No wonder Sigg didn't disclose what the liner was made of - they just announced today that all bottles made before August 2008 did have trace amounts of BPA in the liner.

Reduce, Re-use, Recycle... all possible with SIGG Bottles. People shouldn't get fussy when their bottle gets a few dings in it! That's character building, right? What's important is to not use plastic water bottles for your hydration needs. I love my Sigg!

heahhea Amen, Peggy. I've had my Sigg for a year now. I've dropped it pretty hard and full of water a couple times... on some boulders in West Virginia... It's gotten a couple well-deserved dings now, but only acquired character consequently!

Hi everyone. Thanks! Even though I'm not still writing at THF, I'm still using my SIGG. : )

It has only a few dents from me dropping it, but the interior wasn't affected by that.

Ultimately, I think they are both steps in the right direction, and after getting a good chuckle from previous comments, I want to applaud anyone who purchases, uses, and advocates for either brand.

Thanks for the review! It is fabulous and comprehensive!

ehaheah Justin, thank you. I don't work for Sigg, and I actually laughed because your comment was like you were reading my thoughts. I applaud questioning, but I have to say, a realistic balance is necessary, and sometimes, we miss that mark with conspiracy theory or a cross of what our actual goal/purpose is.

Thank you for reading my mind, Justin, and adding that dose of real. :)

I don't expect everyone to be in love with SIGG, so let's please try to keep the conversation civil when others disagree.
