You know Peggy; I don’t think that’s value pushing. Recycling isn’t so much a value as it is a basic life task. Sort of like a health issue than religion. Well, it is a value but it’s not like pushing little Noah Arc kid books on people who don’t celebrate the corresponding religions. You know. Plus maybe the parents just don’t know — maybe you should get them a book

I briefly considered getting my nephews kid books about recycling, but I thought it might come off as strange since the parents don’t recycle.

Don’t you think? I feel that is a bit of pushing my values on others, but maybe I’m being too paranoid!
