Green Baby Nursery Paint

by Jennifer on September 20th, 2008

non-toxic paintWhen it comes to your baby’s nursery, there’s plenty you can do to make it green, starting with the walls. These days there’s no need for your baby’s walls to be covered with toxic paints or wallpaper, because there are plenty of earth-friendly options available.

When it comes to paint, you’ll want to look for low-VOC paint. VOCs are “volatile organic compounds” and the Environmental Protection Agency EPA reports that using low-VOC or no-VOC paints will improve indoor air quality and obviously eliminate toxins, which results in cleaner, healthier indoor air for your baby.

Following are some good greener nursery wall paint choices…

Other green nursery wall options:

Decorate with fume free decals instead of paint, such as this adorable Branching Out Tree Stick On from Land of Nod.
