These are great ideas. School ends next Tuesday. I’m looking forward to doing some interesting, educational things like this with my boys this summer.
Thank you.

I’m no good at doing planned projects with my kids, but we do some kooky spontaneous stuff– like when we have something like an onion, radish, or garlic that we didn’t manage to eat before it got yucky, my two boys and I dig a hole and plant it to see what happens. Now that Joey is two, he keeps digging them up when we aren’t looking, so we haven’t had anything interesting pop up yet. Once we had a potato bush, but it died in a freeze before we got any potatoes. Another time we had stinky onion flowers right by our front step.
