Fleurville Bags: PVC-free & Chic

March 19, 2008 by Peggy

We’ve been exploring the dangers of PVC this week, but this post is a bit more relaxed.

Fleurville is one of the first all PVC-free companies. And they make some rather hip parenting gear. The Sling Tote, available in several patterns, can be carried in three ways. Throw it over your shoulder, attach it to the stroller (attachment gear included) or use it as a messenger bag. And yes, it’s PVC-free and Teflon-free as well.

Fleurville also carries a Kid’s Messenger that can be converted into a backpack. And it comes with a lead-free matching lunch tote.

While a lot of backpacks out there are made of PVC, Fleurville bags are not, and they are also Teflon-free.

For parent backpacks, check out the Suzy Pak. It’s a little too cute for words.

Of course, we’d like to see Fleurville offer some organic materials in the future. That would make them perfect.

Do you have a favorite source for PVC-free bags?
