Egg Carton Buggy Mobile

May 17, 2008 by Peggy

bee-mobile.jpgHere’s a fun Egg Carton Buggy Mobile (only one bee shown) from Kaboose that you can make with your bug-loving kids one rainy day.

Some of the supplies are things you can recycle: cardboard egg cartons, scraps of paint samples or wallpaper remnants. You may be able to get creative and substitute things you have around the house for some of the other supplies. Perhaps use small buttons instead of wiggle eyes or twigs instead of chenille stems.

In any case, go to Kaboose for the bug mobile instructions. They also have Ladybug Rocks if that suits the fancy of your kids a little better.

How cute is that! Look at you doing kid craft posts. This would make a good baby mobile even, if you left the small easy to swallow eyes off. (I’d be afraid they’d fall off). Really cute though.
