Eco Patches for Your Bags
June 5, 2008 by Jennifer
Peggy’s post the other day; Reusable Bags with a Message got me thinking about what to do if you don’t buy a bag with a message. You can always add a message. When Cedar was a baby, I always added little earth lovin’ patches to his clothes; easy to find at most head shops – or shops that sell hippie, music, or rock star gear.
One patch I have is a cool hemp patch. I got mine from a pal, but I found it online, in case you’d like one, at soul flower:

soul flower also has a Recycle Reuse Reduce Restore Hemp Patch, that’s pretty cool.

You can find tons of patches around, but one very fun idea is to make your own. You can, or your kids can draw up a design and then you simply make it into a patch. Read: Make your own iron-on patches.
