I believe that the coffee shrubs only get taller in tropical areas. These are supposed to stay around 4 feet. Also, they can withstand pruning to keep them from getting too fat. 

You are also supposed to put them outdoors in the summer to pollinate.

Yes, I guess you&#039;d need a whole nursery of coffee plants if you drink it often. I think the plant is more of a fun and educational thing. Plus, it has to be pretty since it&#039;s flowering. It would seem fun to invite the neighbors over for homegrown coffee. Really, how often can you do that?</description>

		<description>Coffe plants stay small if they are planted in a pot, they won&#039;t outgrow the pot. You can harvest and roast the beans, but you won&#039;t get much...you can buy green coffee beans online though, and roast them in a popcorn popper.</description>
