There are some decent sales going on right now, out there in the world of organic kiddo fashion. We don’t usually talk clothes often here, so I thought some nice sale items might be a cool way to kick off the weekend…
Chapter One Organics (shown above) has some seriously inexpensive sale items right now, all organic and healthy for your little one.

$14 - floral side-snap pants

Green Tee Review: Mine Organics
August 4, 2008 by Peggy
As I noted in Organic Tees for Back to School, I’m rather fond of the organic cotton tee that Mine Organics sent me to review.
Though they carry adult sizes, their focus seems to be mainly on kids — from infants all the way to youth. Since I don’t have a kid to stick a shirt on, you’ll have to do with my adult review. Yet, I should mention Mine Organics also sent me a little girl’s tee that was very adorable. I gave it away, and the recipient found it to be one of the softest tees ever.

Ultimate Organic Tees for Back to School
August 1, 2008 by Peggy
Yes, I can say these tees are the “ultimate” since I tried one of them. Except mine was the adult size.
I’ll do a product review on it coming up later. For now, I’ll just say — very comfortable!
Mine Organics, an organic cotton clothing company started by two mothers, offers a hefty dose of stylish green for back to school.
Sizes include infants, toddlers, youth and adults!
All tees are 100% certified organic cotton, and even feature a tag containing wildflower seeds.
And of course, the tees rock with earthy-friendly messages.
For the infant who’ll be relaxing at home while big sister is in school, …read more
Organic Cotton Recycling Tee for Baby
June 6, 2008 by Peggy
Spiffy Baby has an organic corner featuring organic cotton clothing, socks, towels, blankets, toys and gifts.
I think this organic cotton recycle-symbol baby tee is very cute, and not bad for $10.95. It’s naturally dyed. Check out Spiffy Baby’s other organic cotton clothing for babies up to 24 months.

About a Bean Onesie
June 3, 2008 by Jennifer
I’m sorry; I know I always show little bean onesies here, but seriously, how cute is this About A Bean Onesie? I guess I just like beans; oh, and babies. This 100% organic onesie is printed with the botanical stages in “the development of a bean” and is available at the way overly fabulous Bean New York. At $18 it’s a little much for everyday clothing prices, but I’d buy it for a gift.

Organic Tees for Summer
May 27, 2008 by Peggy
From Under the Canopy, choose between several 100% organic cotton tees with green messages and a nice modern fit. Oh, I’m sure you noticed they are literally green — a soothing shade. But they have white and black as well.
What do you think of the organic tees?

WE ADD UP
May 22, 2008 by Jennifer
Love the name, love the idea; WE ADD UP, is just one slick company.
WE ADD UP is the brain child of a mama – daughter duo, concerned with issues like global warming, organics, and so on. The idea is simple and pretty cool.
You head to their website.
Choose your action (or two).
Your action (i.e. an organic shirt) is then printed with a tally number.
It’s easier to show than explain. Here are three actions you could take…
Most of our readers note that they recycle, so the Recycle shirt is perfect. I was hoping to find a “no paper towel” shirt …read more
I Need New Reusable Bags & Hate Shopping (sos… help!)
May 11, 2008 by Jennifer
So, I need new bags, and as mentioned, hate shopping. I really do. I like, actually love, to look at products – clothes, baby stuff, green stuff, etc, but when you get right down to it, I hate to buy stuff.
I do however need new bags. I have some reusable grocery bags but they’re seriously old and dieing. Also, I want some produce bags. I’ve never had reusable produce bags; I just toss veggies and fruits into my cart all helter skelter style. Frankly, it’s hard to manage, and I’m sort of sick of grocery clerks giving me dirty looks.

Where to Find Earth Friendly Wedding Gowns
May 6, 2008 by Jennifer
We will be singling out some beautiful eco-wedding dresses this month, but I also thought it might be nice to have a master list of places where you can find greener wedding dress options.
Wholly Jo’s: London based eco wedding dress design and creation shop.
Conscious Clothing: Earth friendly options, including vegan.
Olivia Luca: Custom create your own eco gown.
Rawganique: Organic hemp wedding clothes for both bride and groom – in fact, the whole darn wedding party.
Threadhead Creations: Actually, I’ve featured them before.
Posh Girl Vintage: lovely dresses!
Encore Bridal: Not green exactly, but consignment, so you’re not buying new (bonus).
Annatarian: I bet pricey, but …read more
