I've brought in 2 bags, dh brought in 1. :( But still much better than before. So I am happy with the outcome so far. Although, no bags in the goal of course. I do need to get a chico bag or 3 as well. hehe

@Peggy, that sucks about the spatula - don't you hate that sort of stuff. Chico in the glove compartment is a good plan.

@Liz 8 bags is a far cry from the average - so you're not doing as bad as you think. 25 bags per month is considered a very low average estimate, so eight is better than that. I carry a big hippie bag, not a purse, so it's easy for me. But big bags aren't everyone's gig. Just remind yourself that you're actually noticing your bag consumption this month, and that's better than many do.

@Joe darn those sandwiches :) You're doing very well though.

D'oh!! I was doing really well, but I wasn't paying attention at Subway. First the sandwich is wrapped in a white sheet, then the big sheet of Subway wrapping, then in a plastic bag. And that was two different sandwiches.

Pretty sneaky Jerod.

Joe, sound like you're doing great.

Liz, I can see your problem! I have a couple of ChicoBags I'll be reviewing soon, and I've decided to keep them in my car glove box. But with NO purse or car.... You know, they do have that little clip so that you can put it on your keyring, but I wonder if that would get too bulky for you. However, you'd always have them! : )

Ugh! Not so great! I'm at 8 bags. I can't believe how bad I've been about it. Part of my problem is that I often don't carry a purse, and I'm a carless wonder, which means there's nowhere to stash that bag. I really have to commit to carrying a purse or bag with me, so that I can keep a couple of Chico bags stashed in there.

My wife ended up getting a plastic bag from a farmer's market, of all places.
Other than that, we're running pretty lean and clean.

I don't always immediately take my bags back to the car. It's really hot around here right now and I'm usually not in the mood to immediately go back downstairs and trot through a parking lot again. If I'm going to the store and the bags are still inside, I do have a method of lying them out on the chair so I remember them when I leave.

So, Michael and I went out to eat last weekend. On the way back it was still daylight and I didn't want to go home just yet. I suggested a Target run to replace a broken spatula. Well, of course the bags were at home and we ended up with one bag full of 4-5 misc purchases.

When we got back to the car we realized we didn't even get the spatula!

I just got some ChicoBags to try out. They fold up into a pouch, so I'm going to keep one or so in each auto glove for things like this - you know, weird spatula runs.
