Best Eco-Kid Links of the Week
I don’t often do links on green youth Saturday, but this has been a nice week around the web regarding kid links. I’ve found a lot of cool eco-kid posts to share.

EcoStreet has a great post about a fun DIY project. It involves recycling something a farmer uses, a bunch of sand, and some super happy children. Check it out. This post is worth it for the adorable photo alone.
Green Baby Guide has a really interesting post about the problems with eco-detergent if your baby wears cloth diapers - this is a must read for cloth diaper users. Ironically, this post discusses biokleen detergent - which I’ll be doing a review of this upcoming week (watch for that).
Gain quick child approval by making some yummy (and easy) Organic Chocolate Coated Butterscotch Bars from Eco Child’s Play.
TV Turn-Off Week is coming up and The Not Quite Crunchy Parent has a post all about it. I’d check it out, because I actually don’t agree with TV Turn-Off Week so unless Peggy blogs it you’re out o’ luck. Actually maybe I will blog it, of course I’ll take the opposition, but that’s ok. This post is not all nuts for the upcoming week either, but does offer some suggestions.
Deb over at She Knows Parties has the best idea ever for a cool outdoor child’s birthday party. I loved this idea, and you might too. Read it now.
Last up a whole blog - Crunchy Domestic Goddess. One mama blogging her little green heart out - a great read. Plus her theme is oh so soothing, you’ll love it. Visit today.
Don’t forget: to enter our Rainforest Alliance Coffee give-a-way. FREE coffee (oh yeah). Wait this is kid day. Hmmm, well, I suppose that a cup or two of coffee won’t harm anyone.

Thanks for the round-up! And I’m not just saying that because you mentioned the Green Baby Guide. . . .
I would actually enjoy reading a post in which you explain your position on TV turn-off week; you should write it!

Hey Rebecca, well, I might do a post. It is sort of hard for me to keep my mouth shut - when it comes to blogging. Maybe this week I’ll blog it.

Of course miss crunchy domestic goddess - you have a great blog. I do hope you go by something else in real life though, because crunchy domestic goddess is a lot to type. :)
Look I’ll time it: crunchy domestic goddess - that was like 20 seconds! But I am really tired.
