Berry Grape Pear Woodruff May Punch
Traditionally May Wine with Woodruff is served during the lovely month of May. If you happen to be reading this and you’re over the age of 21, then check out this recipe for May wine.
I think though, that we should delete the alcohol for a nice children’s version of May wine; May punch.
Gather:
- Organic white grape juice (grapes are a big conventional bad, you need organic)
- A few sprigs of sweet Woodruff
- A bottle of organic sparkling pear juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh or frozen organic berries - I like raspberries, but you could use strawberries, or another berry as well

To make:
- Add the woodruff sprigs to a bottle of white grape juice; allow it to settle over night.
- Remove sprigs from bottle.
- Fill tall frosty glasses with ice cubes and berries and fill the cup half way with white grape juice.
- Fill the reminder of the glass with sparkling pear juice.
Enjoy!

That sounds delicious! I’ve never heard of sweet woodruff before - I’ll have to go see where I can find it.

Hi Heather - it’s pretty good. You can really play on the punch anyway you like. I’ve seen all sorts of juices and berries used. Traditionally strawberries are used if you want authentic.
