Archer Farms Organic Chocolate Chip Petite Cookies – Yum

You won’t hear of me buying prepackaged cookies much. I like to bake my own.

But I won’t deny I get tempted by instant chocolate chip cookie goodness out of the box. And I’ve been happy with most Archer Farms products I’ve tried. In case you haven’t stepped inside a Target in the last few years, they own that brand.

• Of course, I love that the cookies are USDA Organic.

• The price is reasonable — $2.99 for 7 ounces. I’m glad they’re not too cheap. I’d be tempted to buy them more often.

• Taste! I was worried they’d be too crunchy, but they weren’t. These petite chocolate chip cookies are the perfect texture — not chewy and not too crunchy. And they tasted very fresh. The most important thing — they’re packed with plenty of chocolate chips. All ingredients are organic, and it shows in the taste.

• They’re not out-of-this-world fatty, but also not close to fat free. They have 5 grams of total fat per serving (three cookies). The saturated fat is 2.5 grams.

• The box was produced using 100% renewable energy; 70% from Green-e certified wind power. And the paperboard is FSC certified. Not bad. Plus, it’s easy to recycle again. But yes, there was an inner wrapping, a bag.

I still want you to bake your own cookies, but if you find yourself giving in to temptation at Target, then you can’t really go wrong with Archer Farms Organic Chocolate Chip Petite Cookies! I would have shown some of them in the photo, but they’re gone now…
