April Poll Results

April’s poll had lots of votes, our most yet for a Tree Hugging Family poll. Thanks to all who voted!

In case you missed it, we asked which topics people would like to see more about.

Results:

The top three clear winners were:

1. Homemade body care
2. Natural gardening
3. Green product reviews

Well, technically “facts about barrack obama” had the most votes; but since 98% of those votes came up within the same half hour, we’re going to assume someone padded the votes. Hmmm, is it irony that voting was screwed with when it came to a political topic? In any case if you seriously want to learn more about Obama, I suggest you visit Starked DC for news and gossip or the official Obama website.

In any case, with this information we decided that I’d quit with the body care slacking, and add two to three natural homemade body care posts to my schedule each week. Also, both Peggy and I will provide a closer look each week at a few natural gardening topics - although, don’t forget about this blog.

As for the product reviews. We’re going to try bringing more product reviews here to Tree Hugging Family. However, this is dependent on what companies send us - they sometimes want to send us bleach! So we do say no thanks at times. Also, this will depend on what Peggy and I decide to spend our own hard earned cash on. Absolutely look for more reviews overall though.

The runner up topics include:  

• Recycling
• Organic products
• Tree facts & preservation (although it now strikes me that I should have said “conservation”)

We’ll be trying to blog more on these topics as well - just not as concentrated an effort as the winning topics. We’re also going to try and post more money saving tips, or posts about how to save money when buying green. While it was not on the poll, it’s something we keep hearing our readers ask about, so we’re going to cover it.

Hopefully, these results will allow us to bring a little more of what you want to Tree Hugging Family. Thanks so much to everyone who voted. Your votes really do matter to us.
