Tree Hugging Family - Living Green

An Adorable Tree Hugging Family

by Jennifer on September 19th, 2007

You know what I love about blogging; the almost instant gratification. In a very recent previous post I did a shout out to families for cool pictures of kids in nature. And just look at what I get nicely sent to my in box (who thinks I should shout out for a new house?)

Anyhow this post’s title is a bit tricky because I do tend to think all little tree hugging kids are adorable… Still, these pictures are extra adorable. The talented Kate from a favorite b5 blog of mine; Babylune sent these “meadow cuddling” shots to me.

This is a picture of Kate’s little one, BJ, (5 years now), doing some yoga!

Then we have MC, age 1, examining a flower. This may be one of the cutest kid pictures I have ever seen.

These pictures bring up a good idea of how to get great children photos — take them outside and find the brightest green landscape possible and shoot away. Just beautiful!

Many thanks to Kate and her family for sharing their tree; um, meadow hugging kid photos.

    How cute.
Was BJ trying to do tree pose? : )

I don’t know about the pose but these are adorable kids. They really look like their mama too. Or, at least I think so.

I think Peggy is right. I do think that is the tree pose. And yes, they both look just like me.

    I am also adorable….ask anyone.

You are too funny Kate. But yes kind of adorable with the curls. I have natural curls and I hate them. But for some reason I like them on everyone else.

[…] My children are both absolutely delightful. What I find difficult are the people having them have brought into my life, like day care workers who don’t agree with me, pediatricians who don’t agree with me, teachers who don’t agree with me and, occasionally, their father. […]
